First-time registration

If you are resident in Dublin city or county and wish to register a permission for the first time, please call Freephone 1800 800 630.

Important Notice: You do not have to pay a fee to book an appointment. The Registration fee is paid only when you attend the Registration Office and your registration is successfully completed.

Any third party operator offering an appointment booking service for a fee is not operating on behalf of the Immigration Service and does not have an appointment to offer you, or  direct access to the Immigration Service appointments booking system.

Therefore, there is no advantage in paying a third party operator to contact the Freephone number on your behalf to schedule an appointment.

Please call Freephone 1800 800 630 for your appointment.

Operators are available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday to take your call and book your appointment. (Excluding Irish Bank and Public Holidays)

You should also call this Freephone number if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Please make sure you have your passport details and a valid email address to share with the customer service representative when you call.
