The next citizenship ceremonies will take place on Friday 3rd July 2020 at the Killarney Convention Centre in Killarney, Co. Kerry.

These events are entirely dependent on the advice received from Public Health policy officials and Healthcare professionals. The Department will continue to monitor developments. In the meantime applicants are advised to visit https://www.irishimmigration.ie/how-to-become-a-citizen/ for updates.
At the ceremony candidates will take an oath of fidelity to the nation, receive their certificate of naturalisation and thereby become Irish citizens.
